I want to warn you about a recent scam that has been going around on Twitter. Scammers are following a specific pattern of behavior and luring people with high-paying job offers or the chance to try a new game. Please go through my Twitter thread below if you want to know more.

According to my followers and my own experience, scammers on Twitter have been following a particular pattern of behavior for weeks.

2/ Usually, the person with a well-prepared Twitter profile sends you a DM, starting with a regular discussion.
Then, they ask if you're interested in working as a community manager or promoting a product for high rates or similar offers.

3/ If you're just starting to build your position on Twitter, the offer may sound too good to be true.
And that's because it probably is.
Be cautious.

4/ If you take the bait, they'll ask to move the conversation to Telegram/Discord to avoid being tracked.
This is usually followed by an offer to try out their newly developed play-to-earn game.

5/ Don't fall for it!
They'll send you a link to fake software on Discord/Telegram, which is designed to hack your crypto wallets and infect your computer with malicious software.

6/ Be wary of their impatience. πΏ
If you don't respond to their DMs for a few hours after you start the initial conversation, they'll begin to urge you and become impatient.
Don't let yourself be drawn into their manipulations.
